Os Princípios Básicos de Helldivers 2 Gameplay

Open the map and scan around to identify points of interest. Investigating these is how you end up finding loot like medals and Requisition Slips, interesting information logs, and more. If you can't see any points of interest immediately, look for flashing beacons in the distance or question marks on your compass at the top of the screen.

And that’s not all: each Warbond is not time-limited! Once you buy it, you’re free to go ahead and reap its rewards whenever you like.

There's also friendly fire in the game, so the last thing you want to do is take down your fellow Helldivers. If you want to lock onto a target and be even steadier with your aim, try crouching.

Plus, some elements of the post-processing, like the screen-space reflections, didn't give very much of an Unreal impression to me. It turns out that the game is using a modified version of the discontinued Autodesk Stingray game engine, which makes more sense. A variant of this engine powered the excellent Warhammer 40K: Darktide, and while Helldivers 2 isn't quite as striking, I think the game looks strong overall. But Environmental critiques are fine but perhaps miss the point: Helldivers 2 is an action-packed title, and much of your time is spent engaging with the game's insect and robotic foes. These firefights can look pretty extraordinary, especially when all four players are tightly clustered, trying to defend an objective. The key here is how enemies react when shot: each bullet strike spawns little bits of blood or smoke, alongside chunks of viscera or mechanical bits. It makes the simple act of firing at enemies satisfying.

Blow the doors off! Things can be destroyed in Helldivers 2, and some of the optional objectives will encourage you to blow places to bits. Sometimes when you find points of interest, you'll see crates or doors nearby. Throw a grenade and open them up to find even more loot.

The same faster-than-light travel technology, heroically liberated from the Illuminates, that gave Super Earth access to the galaxy, has since been used to colonize it. This period has come to be known as The Great Democratization.

Also, some players are experiencing crashes when trying to join a lobby either via Quickplay or via private lobbies. To add to this, people are criticizing the game for its use of the anti-cheat software, nProtect Gameguard, which may put you off.

On-line games like this one often launch alongside a roadmap that informs players when the developers plan to add specific types of new content in future updates. There's not an official publicly released roadmap for Helldivers 2 yet

The gameplay is still largely similar from the first game, you choose from a list of missions with varying difficulty levels and objectives and get dropped into the map from a landing spot of your choice. You can choose to accomplish the missions immediately if you so desire, or you can aim to complete every side objective in the mission.

Per a PlayStation blog post Arrowhead Game Studios released with the trailer, players will be able to team up with up to three friends to "explore unique planets and complete objectives together, and upgrade your equipment through the deep progression system of Helldivers 2."

Each member of your squad can play according to their own style: some of you will charge into the fight, others will call down a sniper rifle stratagem and maintain a safe distance while picking off the enemies.

On a high-end system using a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with RTX 4090, we're typically looking at frame-rates in the 90s with settings fully maxed out at 4K resolution. That's solid performance, but you'd probably want to engage some amount of resolution scaling if playing on a high refresh rate display. Normally, toggling on DLSS would be a no-brainer, but of course temporal upscalers aren't supported in this game at the moment. On a more mid-range PC (we looked at a Ryzen 5 3600 with RTX 2070 Super), we get decent enough performance, as long as we're willing to take a Helldivers 2 Gameplay settings hit and move down to 1080p resolution on medium settings. Here, we're typically just above 60fps, and while this isn't enough to achieve super high frame-rates at a decent resolution, it's certainly capable of providing a good experience. Stuttering in-game isn't an option, but this seems to happen when launching into a match, but from there on out, gameplay is refreshingly smooth.
